The Aphasia Center of West Texas relies on the assistance of volunteers to help facilitate various Communication Groups, Out and About, and more. If you are looking for a gratifying, inspiring experience – one in which you help people participate in life’s activities more fully, please contact Program Director, Beth Crawford, **@********tx.org“>HERE. Additionally, our Communication Groups provide an ideal opportunity for students who are pursuing a degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Upcoming Events

Each year, the Aphasia Center of West Texas hosts two renowned events to spread awareness and increase funding in support for those who know more than they can say. Chocolate Decadence and the Aphasia Awareness Concert provide an opportunity for supporters of every kind to participate in our mission to improve the lives of people living with aphasia.

Program Fees

Fees are $150/month for unlimited groups per week and $75/month for up to two groups per week. Program fees are billed on a monthly basis and sliding scale scholarships are also available. We are committed to serving those who need our services.

Transportation

Individuals may pay a per-ride or monthly fee for transportation to and from the Aphasia Center in Midland on our mobility van. We also partner with Mission Center Adult Day Service to provide transportation to and from Odessa.
