Flower pounding art

Flower pounding is an artistic technique that involves hammering fresh flowers onto fabric or paper to transfer their pigments and create beautiful patterns.

Dana discusses the joy of doing flower pounding art and why she enjoys coming to the Center.

American flags

The American flag is iconic in its representation of the United States of America.

RED symbolizes strength and valor.

WHITE symbolizes purity and innocence.

A cozy rocking chair to take in the fresh Fall air…some of Mundo’s chips and salsa…
sounds like the perfect combo to enjoy some West Texas scenery from the porch. Just sayin’…

Edmundo talks about what’s difficult for him after having several strokes and why he made the rocking chairs for the Fall Market. He also contributed his homemade salsa to benefit the Aphasia Center. Yum!

Program Fees

Fees are $150/month for unlimited groups per week and $75/month for up to two groups per week. Program fees are billed on a monthly basis and sliding scale scholarships are also available. We are committed to serving those who need our services.

Transportation

Individuals may pay a per-ride or monthly fee for transportation to and from the Aphasia Center in Midland on our mobility van. We also partner with Mission Center Adult Day Service to provide transportation to and from Odessa.
